About the Conference
The Litigation Conference 2019 is proudly presented by the Civil Practice Committee of The Law Society of Singapore.
The focus for Litigation Conference 2019 is the Civil Justice Reforms. The draft reforms will streamline civil procedure and enhance judicial involvement at various stages of the civil proceedings. International, regional and Singapore speakers from common law and civil law jurisdictions will take part in panel discussions to exchange experiences and share with conference delegates their views on this significant change in the landscape of Singapore civil litigation and what litigation lawyers of all ages may expect in the future.
This year’s Conference will be a collaboration with the Supreme Court and State Courts, who will be contributing panellists with whom participants can engage on how the proposed reforms are expected to be implemented.
