Plenary Session 3: Pre-Trial I: Pleadings, CMC, Single Interlocutory Application

The terms of reference of the Civil Justice Commission include the transformation of the litigation process, simplification of the rules and elimination of time-consuming or cost-wasting procedural steps, ensuring fairness to all litigants. Amongst others things, formulation of a list of issues, exchange of affidavits of evidence in chief before disclosure, filing of interlocutory applications in a single application and filing of a case note are proposed to be introduced.
How will this transform how parties prepare their respective cases and strategies? How should counsels prepare for these changes?
